Scope

So you may be asking "just what exactly are they going to do?" Well, I'll go into more details as we go along. But, for right now a brief synopsis.

• Take the roof completely off.
• Add a full second story complete with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
• Completely overhaul the existing kitchen with brand new cabinets, appliances, flooring, paint, light fixtures, you name it. There will only be segments of a few walls from the original kitchen once we're done.
  
• Re-finish all hardwood floors (family room, foyer, and 2 back rooms on first floor)
• New front and back entry doors
• New front sidewalk so we can actually use our front door!
  
• Turn the existing master bedroom into an office
• Turn Alexander's room into a play room (to get ALL of the toys out of the family room!!)
• Turn existing office into a foyer
• Take existing stairs to basement and move them to the foyer where the stairs to the second story are.
• Cut existing walls separating the office and kitchen from the family room in half so there is an open floor plan on main floor.
  
• Paint the red bricks to match the second story siding. No more red bricks!!
  
• I think that's it...for now.
  

Just a few little things. Shouldn't take more than a couple weeks, right? Well, hopefully we're back in before Christmas. Fingers are crossed.
