We have siding

Most of the siding on the house is up. Pay no mind to the red brick. It is going away soon. Just focus on the upper level.



This weekend, we're finally going to start doing some little things on our own. Little painting, little cleaning up. Might be some other surprises along the way.

For the first time in what seems like ages, we have a few new pics to post. Wednesday is shaping up to be a big day, but here's a little teaser.

Lull in the action

So I know there haven't been any new pics in a while. Well, to be honest, there's not much to show. The siding is currently going on, so that will be cool. But I didn't have a chance to take any pics this weekend. We were out selecting kitchen/bath fixtures and finalizing our flooring. Last Thursday we had meetings with: HUD consultant, trim carpenter, painters, flooring installers, door/closet supplier, and probably others I cannot remember at this point.

This week, I hope to have pics of:

• siding completed
• new garage door
• exterior door hardware
• interior walls primed and ready for paint

Hopefully some other surprises, but since I have no idea what they are (hence the surprise) we'll just have to see how the week goes. Supposed to be nice weather-wise!
